SORA

Borrow ebooks and audiobooks from your school's library with Sora. Login is automatic at school on your school laptop through Class Link.  Just go to Class Link, find the Sora app, and click.  Otherwise, a student's username and password is the same as his/her school laptop login username and password. The check-out period is 2 weeks. 
With Sora you can:

• Borrow a book and start reading with a single tap
• Create and export notes and highlights
• Define words - and review a list of all the words that you've looked up
• Earn achievements for reading, and for completing certain tasks in Sora
• Enjoy reading ebooks and audiobooks!

Open eBooks is an app containing thousands of popular and award-winning titles that are free. You may check-out up to 10 eBooks at a time, each eBook for 8 weeks. Multiple users may simultaneously check-out the same eBook. Each eBook may be renewed. Open eBooks is an app available only on smartphones, not on desktops or laptops with internet connection. The goal of Open eBooks is to encourage a love of reading and serve as a gateway to children reading even more often, whether in school, at libraries, or through other eBook reading apps. Ask a library media specialist for your Access Code & PIN.


To download the open eBooks App: On Apple devices, the app is called Open eBooks. On Android devices with Google Play, the app is called SimpleE.

Technology Library Card

The Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library offers technology cards for each student in Montgomery County. This card allows students to access library services including R.E.A.D.S., Freegal, Mango, Universal Class, Tennessee Electronic Library (TEL), Tumblebooks and more. Click here for more information.

This school technology card is an electronic-access only card for the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library. If you would like to change the electronic access-only card to a library card with full borrowing privileges in the future, simply visit the library in person with the card. Staff will walk you through additional steps to process the request.
